Four Hendersonville restaurants earned scores of 98 or higher from the Tennessee Department of Health during the week of Oct. 19-25.
Jake's Place, at 2216 Stop 30 Rd., led the local pack with a 99, according to scores reported by Main Street Media of Tennessee. Three other Hendersonville establishments each scored 98: Dos Margarita's at 4 Industrial Park, Taqueria Don Carbon Express at 386 W. Main St. Suite 106 and Taqueria El Grullense at 778 W. Main St.
The scores are part of a broader Sumner County inspection cycle that also covered restaurants in Gallatin and Cottontown. Two Gallatin establishments, Simpson Strong Tie Cafe and The Soda Stop, earned perfect 100s. Wingstop on Maharris Drive in Gallatin also scored 100.
