Beech brings a state ranking and a long rivalry winning streak into its matchup against Station Camp on Friday, Oct. 2, headlining a Week 7 slate that also sends Hendersonville to Summit.
Both games are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2, according to the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) schedule published by Sumner County Source. The Hendersonville-Summit kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
Beech (5-1) vs. Station Camp (1-4)
The Buccaneers enter ranked No. 25 in Tennessee by the Massey Ratings composite, according to On3's Sept. 28 rankings. Beech has been dominant, blanking Hunters Lane 45-0 on Sept. 25 and shutting out Henry County 27-0 on Sept. 4, according to MaxPreps.
The Buccaneers have owned this series. Buccaneer Athletics posted ahead of the 2025 matchup that Beech had won 15 straight against Station Camp dating to 2008, after the Bison took the first meeting 17-10 in 2007. Beech won again on Oct. 3, 2025, according to MaxPreps.
Station Camp has struggled. The Bison opened with a 48-16 win over White House on Sept. 4 but have dropped three straight, falling to Gallatin 28-31 on Sept. 25, Lebanon 14-49 on Sept. 18 and Springfield 21-35 on Sept. 11, according to MaxPreps.
Hendersonville (4-2) at Summit (2-4)
The Commandos have won three straight and sit at 2-0 in region play, according to the Commando Football account on X. Hendersonville routed Portland 56-8 on Sept. 25 to clinch a Region 6-5A playoff berth. The Commandos scored 49 against Hunters Lane on Sept. 18 and posted a 27-0 shutout of Rossview on Sept. 11, according to MaxPreps.
Summit snapped a four-game losing streak with a 20-19 win over Shelbyville Central on Sept. 25, according to MaxPreps. The Spartans sit at 2-4 overall and 1-2 in district play. Senior wide receiver Micah Sally leads the Summit offense with 56.3 receiving yards per game and three receiving touchdowns, while junior quarterback Davis Smith has thrown four touchdown passes, per MaxPreps.
